I have this on my l foot and the other just mildly so.
Rubber band feeling around foot.
I had been experiencing tingling at the bottom of both feet and a feeling of tight rubber bands around my right ankle.
No one has offered me an explanation or help to fix problem.
Nerve and muscle tests did not point to an answer for the symptoms.
Burning sensation and pain in foot.
I also had tkr and epidural in public hospital.
I notice it more in my right ankle but it is really noticeable when i am tired and be on my feet too long or if it gets really hot.
The plantar fascia works like a rubber band.
If the band is long you have a low or flat arch.
But the sensation persisted.

Resting and a cold pack alleviates the annoyance for me.

So i took off my socks and walked around barefoot.
Xray and ultrasound showed plantar fasciitis tendonitis and heel spur.
This is 7 months after operation.
I called my good friend of the same age and said i feel like i have a string around my big toe and it won t go away i also described it like i had a rubber band on my toe or a toe ring but i never wore a toe.
It s not a phantom pain.
It forms the arch of your foot and connects your heel to your toes.
It is very disturbing.
Tight sock syndrome is a feeling of wearing socks on your feet all the time.
If the band is short you have a high arch.
I suspect it s idiopathic peripheral neuropathy reported the doctor there is no known cure and it will in all probability get worse.
The band has suddenly extended farther down and is affecting the entire leg.

I still suffer with tight band around foot.
A pad of fat covers the tissue and helps your heels to absorb shock put on your feet.
I would suggest going to a neuro.
However i also have a very tight sensation like a rubber band wrapping around the upper calf below the l knee.
